Detailed knowledge of the basic principles that govern the insertion and folding of membrane proteins will constitute an extraordinary aid to the rational design of drugs, which represents an undeniable added value for our basic research, especially in the apoptosis and SARS-CoV-2 objectives. We will share the new materials and expertise emerging from the project with academic and industrial stakeholders through open access publications, scientific conferences, and collaborative knowledge exchange networks.
